Denver Eases up on Cannabis Delivery

The Denver City Council passed a bill that will make it easier for cannabis delivery.  The bill reduces fees associated with the delivery business. 

  • Retail delivery licenses will drop from $2,000 to $25
  • Transporter permits will b reduced from $2,500 to $25
  • The applications for Transport will now be a fee of $25
  • Retail delivery fees will be reduced to $25

With this bill, retailers will no longer be allowed to create their own delivery services.  Also, the delivery-licensed exclusivity allowed to social equity entrepreneurs will not expire in July 2024, as originally planned.
